Product Description

LOCTITE 2422 is a blue, one-component anaerobic threadlocker paste for medium-strength locking and sealing of metal fasteners that must remain serviceable with hand tools. Its high thixotropic viscosity keeps the paste on threaded parts during application. It is used on less-active substrates, including stainless steel and plated surfaces, and in assemblies requiring elevated-temperature resistance. LOCTITE 2422 cures without air between close-fitting metal threads. Torque performance is specific to the defined steel fastener configurations, cure times, and pretightening conditions used for removable threaded assemblies.
