CYBERBOND 2077

Main features

  • Medium-Viscosity Placement Control
  • Fast Rubber-Compound Bonding
  • Metal, Plastic, and Rubber Fit

Product Description

Cyberbond 2077 provides a medium-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate option for fast general-purpose bonding, particularly rubber compounds. The intermediate flow profile balances placement control with wetting on close-fitting metal, plastic, and rubber interfaces. It is applied without mixing and develops rapid set under substrate-specific conditions, supporting small-part assembly. Cyberbond 2077 offers a medium-body instant adhesive for joints that need controlled placement without a high-viscosity gap-filling profile, especially in rubber-focused applications and controlled small-part assembly workflows.

Key features

  • Medium-viscosity placement control: The flow profile balances wetting with localized application on close-fitting parts.
  • Rubber-compound bonding: The adhesive is particularly used for rubber and elastomer assemblies.
  • Substrate-specific fast set: Set behavior is reported for metal, plastic, and rubber interfaces.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Rubber and elastomer bonding
  • Close-fitting metal and plastic parts
  • General-purpose small-component assembly

Thermal Properties
Flash Point
The flashpoint of a solvent is the lowest possible temperature at which it can vaporize to form an ignitable vapor. Flashpoint is often confused with “autoignition temperature”, which is the temperature at which a solvent ignites without an ignition source.
85 °C
Physical Properties
Viscosity
Viscosity is a measurement of a fluid’s resistance to flow. Viscosity is commonly measured in centiPoise (cP). One cP is defined as the viscosity of water and all other viscosities are derived from this base. MPa is another common unit with a 1:1 conversion to cP. A product like honey would have a much higher viscosity -around 10,000 cPs- compared to water. As a result, honey would flow much slower out of a tipped glass than water would. The viscosity of a material can be decreased with an increase in temperature in order to better suit an application
800 +/- 150 mPa.s
Other Properties
RoHS Compliant
RoHS is a product level compliance based on a European Union Directive which restricts the Use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS). Products compliant with this directive do not exceed the allowable amounts of the following restricted materials: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), with some limited exemptions
