CONATHANE TU-801

Main features

  • Two-Component Polyurethane Part B Curative
  • 100% Solids Flexible Casting System
  • High-Toughness Chemical-Resistant Cured System

Product Description

CONATHANE® TU-801 Polyurethane Curative is the amber Part B curative used with compatible CONATHANE polyurethane resin systems, including TU-401. The paired two-component system is documented as a 100% solids polyurethane used for casting and potting flexible elastomers. System-level characteristics include toughness, high elongation, tensile and tear strength, ultraviolet stability, durability, and chemical resistance. ELANTAS lists a 100:51 resin-to-curative ratio for the TU-801 system, while final processing conditions and cured properties depend on the exact Part A pairing and must remain explicitly identified.

Key features

  • Part B polyurethane curative: TU-801 is used with compatible CONATHANE resin components.
  • 100% solids system: The paired polyurethane system is documented for casting and potting flexible elastomers.
  • Tough elastomer profile: System descriptions cite high elongation, tensile strength, tear strength, and chemical resistance.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Curative for compatible CONATHANE polyurethane systems
  • Potting and casting flexible elastomers
  • Industrial components requiring toughness and elongation

Technical Specifications

General Properties
Appearance
Appearance at room temperature.
light amber
Component System
Describes the number of components that must be supplied, mixed, or activated before application or cure.
Two (Urethane Prepolymer / Curative)
Mix Ratio
The amount of a constituent divided by the total amount of all other constituents in a mixture
100 : 51
Electrical Properties
Arc Resistance
ASTM-D495 expresses arc resistance as the number of seconds that a material resists forming a surface-conducting path when exposed to a high-voltage, low-current arc occurring intermittently. Results obtained from a nominal 3 mm thickness are meant to represent the material’s reaction in any thickness.
> 120 s
Surface Resistivity
6.2 x 10¹³ Ohms/sq
Volume Resistivity
Volume resistivity, also called volume resistance, bulk resistance or bulk resistivity is a thickness dependent measurement of the resistivity of a material perpendicular to the plane of the surface.
1.2 x 10¹² Ohms⋅cm
